How do I know what products I should buy?
Our trained customer advocates can help! We highly recommend you make an appointment to talk to one of our staff over the phone at no cost before you place an order online or visit our store. Our staff will discuss with you the effects you desire and the results you are looking to achieve with cannabis and will recommend products for you.
What are the rules and laws regarding cannabis?
A complete list of rules and laws is available here. A few key rules: Adults aged 21 and older are prohibited from purchasing more than 1 ounce of cannabis flower (or the equivalent of up to 5 grams of cannabis concentrate) per day. Massachusetts law prohibits the use of cannabis in any form in public, including in or near the Cape Ann Cannabis facility. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal.
How much cannabis should I use?
We recommend you Start Low and Go Slow. The effects of different cannabis products can vary greatly depending on the individual. Each person metabolizes, processes, and experiences cannabis differently. Plus, there are individual preferences around the length of impact, day vs. nighttime relief, method of use, and the type of effects experienced
with your cannabis use.
Our dosing guide can help you determine how much cannabis to start with. You can also make an appointment to talk to one of our customer advocates or our staff cannabis nurse to discuss dosing.
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
CBD is a nonintoxicating compound of the cannabis plant, while THC is intoxicating which means it creates the feeling of being “high”. Our sister store, Cape Ann Botanicals, specializes in CBD products, while we at Cape Ann Cannabis focus on products with THC. Learn more about CBD and THC here.
How do I store Cannabis?
Keep all products in a secure location away and out of reach from children and pets. All Cape Ann Cannabis products are packaged in, and should be kept in, child-proof and tamper-proof containers. Do not store cannabis with other food where it may be accidentally ingested. Do not store cannabis in areas with direct sunlight, as light may speed up the degradation process. Do not store edibles in areas where temperatures may be over 75°F as melting may occur.
